Job summary

RethinkFirst is a market leader in behavioral and mental health technology, seeking a Staff Accountant to support our accounting and finance team in a remote-friendly role. You will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with the month-end close and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred).

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies and assist with month-end close processes.
• Assist balance sheet and P&L reconciliations and ensure timely financial reporting.
