Zusammenfassung

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral and mental health technology, is hiring a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team. This role reports to the Controller and will be pivotal in day-to-day accounting, monthly closes, and ensuring GAAP compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage Intacct. Remote-first environment with national scope are available.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required or similar
• 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
