RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This remote-first role supports day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and compliance with GAAP. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of accounting experience and strong Excel and ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required, 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems like Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
