RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This remote-first role supports daily accounting activities, month-end close, and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate has a 2–3 year accounting background, strong Excel and Sage Intacct skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Benefits include comprehensive health plans and 401k, with flexible remote options.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP such as Sage Intacct.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards
