Job summary

The Staff Accountant role is part of the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller, with responsibilities across reconciliations and month-end activities.

The position emphasizes accuracy, adherence to GAAP, and collaboration with auditors, while supporting process improvements and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
