Job summary

RethinkFirst, a market leader in behavioral and mental health technology, seeks a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will handle daily accounting tasks, assist with month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
