RethinkFirst is a market leader in behavioral and mental health technology, offering remote-first opportunities across the United States. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller.

This role focuses on timely financial reporting, accurate journal entries, and strong collaboration with senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Sage Intacct ERP preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
