RethinkFirst in the United States is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role supports month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting experience, an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP). The position offers a remote-first environment with comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.

Mansioni

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
