RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role supports day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and external audits in a remote-first environment with national reach.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of accounting experience, an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel and Sage Intacct skills. Excellent analytical abilities and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
