RethinkFirst in the United States is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will manage day-to-day accounting tasks and support the month-end close.

You will perform bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, ensure timely financial reporting, and assist external auditors. A 2–3 year accounting background and advanced Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
