Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. The role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end close with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards
