Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will handle day-to-day accounting tasks and support month-end close.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years of accounting experience and advanced Excel skills. We offer a remote-friendly, benefits-rich environment with performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Assist the month-end close process with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
