Akumin, a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services, seeks a Staff Accountant – Accounting and Financial Reporting to support the monthly and quarterly close, prepare financial statements, footnotes, journal entries, and reconciliations. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements and reports.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2–3 years of related accounting experience, strong Excel with Pivot Tables and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and investor reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packet for internal reporting.
• Prepare journal entries to record financial transactions to the general ledger (debt, equity, goodwill, intangibles).
• Review general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare adjusting entries as needed; reconcile balance sheets.
• Assist with daily cash management and treasury reporting.
• Assist in the annual financial audits.
