Job summary

The Staff Accountant – Accounting and Financial Reporting supports monthly and quarterly financial reporting and the month-end close process through preparation of financial statements, footnotes, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• CPA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and notes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packet for internal use.
• Record journal entries to general ledger for debt, equity, goodwill and intangibles.
• Review general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies and prepare adjusting entries.
• Assist with daily cash management and treasury reporting.
• Support annual financial audits.
