Job summary

Aristeo is seeking a Staff Accountant to support projects, customers, subcontractors and vendors from our Michigan office. You will manage billing, process subcontractor payments, support AR collections, and handle month-end close with accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting, an associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and proficiency in Excel with Crystal Reports; Viewpoint knowledge is a plus. On-site position with extensive collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; construction experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day billing: prepare invoices, code, and ensure timely submission.
• Upload invoices and docs in customer portals and systems.
• Process subcontractor payments and waiver documentation.
• Support accounts receivable collections and supplier inquiries.
• Complete project closeout items, including retention releases and warranties.
• Maintain vendor database and collect W-9 forms.
• Complete month-end and year-end procedures timely and accurately.
