The role emphasizes first clinical contact, AMA prevention, and crisis support within residential settings. You will coordinate with the care team to ensure smooth handoffs and discharge readiness, contributing to safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Admission engagement and initial treatment planning with new admissions.
• Therapeutic engagement and AMA prevention using motivational interviewing.
• Design and facilitate early recovery and relapse prevention curriculum.
• Crisis response and extended-hours support across residential programs.
• Discharge readiness and continuity planning with aftercare coordination.
• Documentation of encounters and clear handoffs to care teams.
• Schedule coverage including Saturdays and flexible group support.
