Job summary

Cumberland Heights Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Admissions Specialist to guide patients and families through the admissions process, evaluate referrals for service eligibility, and discuss treatment options, costs, and expected outcomes.

The role operates under clinical supervision and emphasizes compassionate communication and safe, confidential handling of sensitive information. The position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced behavioral health environment, with shifts

Qualifications

• CPRS or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in behavioral healthcare with addictions experience or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Screen inquiry calls and conduct assessments for admission.
• Explain treatment options and probable financial responsibility to clients.
• Meet scheduled appointments in a timely and professional manner.
• Document admissions process and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Coordinate with admissions, clinical, and medical staff.
