Zusammenfassung

Cumberland Heights is seeking a Stabilization Counselor to guide patients in the crucial early days of treatment. You will engage admissions, perform initial treatment planning, and hand off to primary counselors while supporting at-risk individuals with motivational check-ins and safety planning.

You will design modular relapse-prevention programming, respond to crises during extended hours, and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth transitions and discharge readiness.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Licensed or license-eligible in TN; LADAC/LPC-MHSP/LCSW/LMFT considered.
• Minimum two years behavioral healthcare experience; addiction treatment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide admission engagement and initial treatment planning with new admissions.
• Deliver 15-minute motivational check-ins during first 72 hours on campus.
• Design and facilitate open-entry relapse prevention curriculum.
• Serve as first-line counselor for crisis response and extended hours.
