Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to shape reliability strategy within Enterprise Technology, Infrastructure Platforms. You will lead a team, design resiliency reviews, and mentor engineers across multiple domains.

You will own incident response for mission-critical services, drive post-incident learning, and champion automation with Python, Shell, and Ansible. A strong leadership presence and deep SRE expertise are required.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on site reliability engineering concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction, and other site reliability best practices.
Fluent in programming languages such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, .Net.

Responsibilities

Models and champions site reliability culture and practices; documents and shares knowledge.
Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analytics.
Defines service level indicators and objectives with stakeholders; monitors error budgets.
Utilizes AI capabilities to accelerate major-incident triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis with proper validation.
Acts as main incident contact to resolve issues quickly and minimize financial impact.
Provides technical leadership and mentorship across SD-WAN/SDA/SDN, routing, switching, and network security.
Leads automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible to reduce toil and improve reliability.
Drive readiness reviews, resilience testing, and change safety in collaboration with platform teams.
