Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability across complex services in the Corporate Technology group. You will lead incident response, design reviews, and mentor engineers while influencing architectural decisions across multiple domains.

Expect ownership of resiliency design, collaboration with teams, and practical use of AI tools to streamline incident handling and post-incident analysis on enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in reliability, scalability, performance, and security across enterprise systems.
• Proficient in Python, Java/Spring Boot or .Net with strong validation habits.
• Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities to SRE workflows with data sensitivity awareness.
• Strong knowledge of observability, SLOs/SLIs and telemetry collection.

Responsibilities

• Model and champion SRE culture; share knowledge via forums and communities.
• Lead initiatives to improve reliability and stability using data-driven analysis.
• Collaborate to define service level indicators and objectives with stakeholders.
• Leverage enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and analysis.
• Be the main contact during major incidents, guiding rapid resolution.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineers.
• Drive reuse of AI-assisted reliability workflows across SDLC and tooling.
