Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the Corporate KYC Technology group in Houston. You will lead the team, conduct resiliency design reviews, and mentor engineers while breaking down complex problems into manageable work.

You will drive incident leadership for major applications, influence SRE practices with data-driven metrics, and enable AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC, ensuring security and auditability.

Qualifications

5+ years of applied experience in site reliability engineering or related field.
Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security and enterprise architecture.
Fluency in programming languages such as Python, Java (Spring Boot) or .Net.
Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.
Ability to evaluate AI-assisted recommendations, define guardrails, and ensure resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

Champions SRE culture and exerts technical influence across the team.
Leads initiatives to improve reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics.
Defines and negotiates service levels with stakeholders and leads incident management during major outages.
Utilizes AI capabilities to accelerate triage, troubleshooting, and post-incident analysis, with proper data handling.
Leads adoption of AI-assisted reliability workflows across the SDLC and ensures traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
Documents and shares knowledge via internal forums and practice communities.
