Duration: Expected to be 06 months contract (With possible extension)

Job Description

Pay Range: $70/hr. – $75/hr (the pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications)

Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet user requirements.
2. Extensive experience on different types of testing that includes Functional testing, System Integration testing, Regression testing and UAT.
3. Experience in Agile/Scrum Environments on multiple Projects.
4. Experience in developing test plans, strategies, and test Scenarios.
5. Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts. Collaborate with the development team to address and resolve identified issues in a timely manner.
6. Expertise in using JIRA/Excel for writing the Test Cases and tracking the Defects.
7. Hands-on Experience using SQL queries.
8. Participate in Defect Triaging during Major releases and tracking the Defects.
9. Perform Smoke testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not affect existing functionalities.
10. Excellent Communication skills - Verbal and written.

Qualifications:

1. Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: 6-9yrs as a software Test Engineer. Good to have ISTQB Certification.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of SDLC and STLC on Agile Scrum environments.
• Experience on clinical data management systems. Quick understanding and self-ownership.
• Hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Similar systems.
• Hands-on experience in Healthcare/ Pharma background is preferred.
