Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, or Real Estate (preferred).
• 5+ years of LIHTC investment origination experience.
• Ability to structure and negotiate affordable housing loans.
• Experience with community development lending or CRE lending programs (preferred).
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage a portfolio of community development loans and equity investments, including LIHTC projects.
• Identify and maintain relationships with high-profile clients, organizations, and agencies in the affordable housing industry.
• Develop marketing strategies and regional plans for specific regions and clientele.
• Cross-sell financial solutions and bank products.
• Negotiate and structure transactions for long-term viability of real estate investments.
• Collaborate with credit, legal, compliance, CRA, and risk teams to structure deals.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Represent the bank at community events and conferences.
• Maintain relationships with nonprofits, CDFIs, housing developers, and public sector partners.
• Adhere to KeyBank policies and conduct with integrity.
