Job summary

KeyBank seeks an Equity Originator - Sr Relationship Manager for Community Development Lending and Investment to originate, structure, and negotiate LIHTC investments. You will manage a growing portfolio, build relationships with nonprofits, CDFIs, housing developers, and public sector partners, and drive national affordable housing initiatives.

You will collaborate with internal teams to structure deals, stay ahead of LIHTC trends, and expand KeyBank's impact in underserved communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of LIHTC investments experience.
• 10+ years in related roles preferred.
• Proven ability to source, structure, and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage a portfolio of LIHTC investments and CRA-qualified activities.
• Identify relationships with nonprofits, CDFIs, housing developers, and public sector partners.
• Develop regional marketing strategies and plans for affordable housing.
• Cross-sell financial solutions and bank products.
• Collaborate with credit, legal, compliance, CRA and risk teams to structure deals.
