Job description

Job Description Summary

You will manage Leap and CFM IPT Process Improvement projects, focusing on on-time delivery, inventory performance, and process enhancement. Your role involves interpreting business challenges and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, and services, while staying informed of industry trends.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Require specialized expertise within your discipline.
  2. Maintain strong commercial awareness, influence strategy development, resource control, and policy formulation.
  3. Impact the team’s ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness objectives.
  4. Support decision-making on critical topics.
  5. Utilize high-level judgment to handle complex tasks and decisions affecting the function.
  6. Drive process improvement projects, including methods, tools, and deployment systems.
  7. Work on complex technological solutions and present strategies, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders.
  8. Communicate across organizational levels and with cross-functional partners.
  9. Develop action plans and research strategies annually.
  10. Contribute to business programs and midterm planning within a significant part of the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Sourcing, Materials, Supply Chain, or Project Management.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in shop operations or manufacturing.
  • Ability to interface effectively across all organizational levels and manage multiple process improvement projects.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to document, plan, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills and ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
