Job description

Job Description Summary

You will manage Leap and CFM IPT Process Improvement projects, focusing on enhancing processes to ensure on-time delivery, improve inventory performance, and streamline operations. Your role involves analyzing internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, and services. Staying informed of industry trends that may influence your work is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Leverage specialized expertise within your discipline to drive initiatives.
  2. Influence strategy development within your area, including resource control and policy formulation, supported by strong commercial awareness.
  3. Contribute to achieving team objectives related to service, quality, and timeliness.
  4. Support decision-making processes on key issues.
  5. Use judgment to make decisions and resolve complex problems impacting the function.
  6. Lead process improvement projects, utilizing appropriate methods, tools, and systems.
  7. Work on complex technological solutions and present strategies, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  8. Communicate effectively across teams and with cross-functional partners.
  9. Develop action plans and research strategies on an annual basis.
  10. Contribute to business programs and midterm planning within your function or business unit.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Sourcing, Materials, Supply Chain, or Project Management.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in shop operations or manufacturing.
  • Ability to interface with all organizational levels and manage multiple process improvement projects.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
