Job summary

Chemours Washington Works facility located in Parkersburg, WV has an Electrical Engineer position available, reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager.

This role supports field electrical maintenance, designs improvements up to $500k, leads troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and collaborates with E&I, Operations and other engineers.

A ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience are required, with strong communication and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5 years engineering experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems using data-based decisions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a hands-on approach.
• Troubleshooting experience.

The Chemours Washington Works facility located in Parkersburg, WV has a Electrical Engineer position available. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Washington Works Team. This position will report to the Maintenance Engineering Manager.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

This role serves as an Electrical Engineer for the Chemours Central Maintenance Engineering Organization and will be assigned to one of the Production Units at the Washington Works plant in Parkersburg, WV. Electrical Maintenance Engineers address short-term electrical & instrumentation issues in a timely manner to keep the plant running. They also design and implement improvement projects up to $500,000.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 5 years of Engineering experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical engineering principles
• Demonstrated skill to diagnose and solve technical problems - making data-based decisions.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willing and able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes, hard hat, Nomex, eye protection, respirators, etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a "hands on" approach.
• Troubleshooting experience

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :

• 8 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Root Cause Analysis experience
• Experience specifying and implementing valves and instrumentation including flow, temperature, and pressure measurements

Pay Range (in local currency): $110,544.00 - $172,725.00
