Job summary

The Chemours Washington Works facility in Parkersburg, WV is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Engineer – Electrical to join the central maintenance engineering team.

You will serve as the electrical engineer for a production unit, addressing short-term electrical and instrumentation issues and driving improvements with project scopes up to $500,000. Responsibilities include developing job plans, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis, collaborating with E&I mechanics and operations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 5 years of Engineering experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve technical problems with data-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Address electrical and instrumentation issues to keep the plant running.
• Develop Job Plans, Procedures and Execution Standards.
• Lead troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for larger events.
• Collaborate with E&I Mechanics, Operations and other engineers.
• Improve work execution and standardization; implement smaller CODs.
