Join to apply for the Sr. Facilities Manager role at Cushman & Wakefield.

This position has managerial oversight of multiple facilities, an entire campus, or a portfolio of client facilities and reports to higher management. The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and programs to ensure well-maintained buildings, tenant satisfaction, environmental health and safety, and quality standards. The role involves liaising with clients, coordinating services, managing budgets, and leading a team of Facilities Managers or Assistant Facilities Managers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing daily operations of facilities, ensuring effective service delivery in areas like custodial, engineering, and maintenance.
  • Managing service contracts, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Leading maintenance programs and ensuring prompt response to client and tenant requests.
  • Preparing budgets, financial reports, and business plans.
  • Developing capital budgets and maintenance plans.
  • Monitoring and reporting on operational metrics, work order productivity, and cost savings.
  • Hiring, training, and evaluating facility management staff.
  • Fostering customer focus and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Driving operational innovation and industry best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and managing claims.
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • 8-10 years of facility management experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in leasing, construction, engineering, and property operations.
  • Preferred: ISO 14001, human resource management, critical systems, CMMS experience.
