What this job involves:

This role is responsible for managing assigned sites within an owned and/or occupied portfolio, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. The position oversees all line of business and third-party relationships for assigned buildings and manages a team of Facility Management professionals.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  1. Overseeing the performance and outcomes of assigned staff
  2. Interfacing with third-party owners (Landlords) to ensure contract compliance and resolve tenant relations issues
  3. Coordinating facility services in accordance with standard processes and procedures
  4. Ensuring compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and relevant laws and regulations
  5. Managing and coordinating Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography
  6. Preparing, submitting, and managing facility budgets, tracking variances, and ensuring smooth recovery processes
  7. Supporting prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants
  8. Developing and executing staff succession and growth plans
  9. Participating in compensation planning processes

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in facility management and team leadership
  2. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to facility management
  3. Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  4. Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  5. Experience in staff development and succession planning

Preferred:

  1. Advanced degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
  2. Industry certifications (e.g., IFMA CFM, BOMI RPA)
  3. Experience with sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives in facility management
  4. Proficiency in facility management software and technologies

Estimated total compensation for this position:

171,600.00 – 249,600.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
