Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Manager Facilities 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in McClellan, CA.

The qualified applicant will support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division Facilities, leading a staff in the management of a 3-building campus.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Management of the daily operation of the Facilities
2. Develops and manages facility operating budgets, cost pool, capital expenditures, and staff
3. Develops and implements strategic facility plans that leverage resources and achieves an efficient and cost effective operating model
4. Establishes and maintains service level agreements, manages and reports space utilization and occupancy
5. Partners with the site senior management and business development leadership to plan and manage site requirements
6. Planning and execution of building alterations including major capital projects, delivering on-time & under budget
7. Coordinates with engineering firms, contractors and internal groups to execute projects
8. Presents intelligent building modification options to management for consideration with recommendations for alternatives
9. Coordinates with staff on duties, responsibilities, projects, schedules and budgets, with recurring meetings
10. Prepares and presents status reports to management and site management
11. Facility appearance, building infrastructure equipment operation, site safety, EH&S and OSHA compliance and reporting
12. Ensures buildings and equipment are maintained with a robust Preventive Maintenance program, utilize existing Work Order System and output metrics, and maintaining vendor PO’s
13. Ensure minimal interruption to operations, with zero down time
14. Compliance with sector space utilization policies, collaboration with other functional support teams, supporting Real Estate transaction management in the acquisition/disposition of space and provision of data to support sector/corporate metric development and space utilization
15. Business resumption and emergency preparedness
16. Building POC to Landlord
17. Travel to other sites as needed

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years minimum facilities experience (6-years of facility & staff management experience inclusive) or 12 years facility experience in lieu of degree.
2. Experience leading/managing teams/projects with direct reports.
3. Experience with goal setting, performance reviews, regional experience.
4. Experience and knowledge of Facilities infrastructure, equipment, redundancies, electrical and mechanical systems, and basic code requirements.
5. Experience with successful vendor and landlord negotiations, facility consolidations, and relevant construction projects.
6. Experience and extensive knowledge working with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
7. Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Top Secret security clearance.
8. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology, Construction Management, Engineering or Business
2. 6-10 years of Facilities Project Management experience and at least 5 years of experience in Construction Management
3. Strong leadership qualities, communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional writing, organization and planning experience.

Salary Range: $117,600.00 - $176,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
