Job summary

Serco is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the Special Programs Division for AFLCMC/WAG at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and extensive DoD software experience.

You will guide architecture, CI/CD adoption, and MBSE integration while interfacing with contractors and government stakeholders to advance airworthiness capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP access.
• Masters Degree in Engineering with extensive DoD experience.
• Recent SAP/SCI experience within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software architecture for CI/CD pipelines in DoD programs.
• Assess interfaces among software, firmware and hardware.
• Review system design, test plans, and contractor proposals.
• Develop technical documentation and briefings.
• Interface with contractors and Government representatives on software activities.
• Apply software engineering principles to investigations and mitigation.
