Serco Inc. (Serco) is the Americas division of Serco Group, plc. We support DoD programs and seek a SME Software Engineer to join the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, DevSecOps, MBSE, and agile software engineering with eligibility for TS/SCI. A Top-Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI/SAP access are required, with travel up to 10% CONUS.

Qualifications

Active Top-SECRET clearance required with ability to obtain SCI/SAP access.
Experience with DoD software engineering, CI/CD, and MBSE.
Strong background in systems analysis and technical reviews.
Familiarity with DoD acquisition software engineering support.

Responsibilities

Oversee software engineering architecture of prime DoD contractors implementing CI/CD for software pipelines in acquisition, development, and sustainment of prototypes and aircraft.
Assess interfaces between software, firmware, and hardware.
Participate in software-centric reviews and transition efforts to CI/CD.
Translate operational requirements into system requirements using MBSE.
Analyze software performance deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation.
Review system design, architecture, and interoperability requirements.
Evaluate test plans and analyze test data; provide recommendations.
Develop and review technical documentation and RFPs; evaluate contractor proposals.
