Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to drive promotion of the psychiatry portfolio in the Springfield, MA region. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, sales discipline, and the ability to build durable customer relationships across the healthcare ecosystem.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS, have 2+ years pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales experience, and can travel up to 40% while living within 40 miles of the territory. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually
• Self-starter, with a strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver's license in good standing
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck

Responsibilities

• Lead the promotion of our psychiatry portfolio and execute sales strategies with clinical knowledge
• Use data-based insights to develop strategy and tactics, allocate resources, monitor progress and adjust direction
• Deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, handle objections and close with a call to action
• Build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals
• Apply comprehensive therapeutic knowledge to uncover opportunities and optimize account plans
• Demonstrate knowledge of reimbursement dynamics and address payer access issues employing Lundbeck resources
• Adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations and Lundbeck policies
