Job summary

Lundbeck is seeking a Psychiatry Account Manager to lead promotion of the psychiatry portfolio, implement sales strategies, and build relationships with customers in and around Springfield, MA. You will drive territory planning, leverage data, and rally cross-functional teams to execute initiatives across accounts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in pharma or healthcare sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must pass disease/product training exams and stay certified annually.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to maximize sales performance.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe customer needs, close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain productive relationships based on customer needs and goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: map account linkages and apply therapeutic knowledge to identify opportunities.
• Reimbursement: address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: adhere to policies and FDA regulations.
