Alpha is opening a new campus in Springfield, MA, and seeks a leader to coach and motivate students while the EdTech platform delivers instruction. You will lead a team of 15+ Guides, with day-one health benefits and a focus on execution, data-driven decisions, and campus culture.

This Principal role emphasizes leadership over teaching, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years in education or related fields, plus strong data skills and a startup mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, business, or related field.
• Proven experience building and managing teams of at least 15 people with complete hiring authority.
• Deep knowledge of the Springfield, MA education landscape.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Launch the Springfield, MA campus: deliver on promises for 100+ students from day one.
• Lead live workshops with K-8 students on life skills: public speaking, growth mindset, and feedback skills.
• Develop personalized motivational frameworks to help students reach their goals.
• Coach Guides to high performance and uphold Alpha’s quality standards.
• Review performance data and implement measurable interventions campus-wide.
