Job summary

Alpha is launching a brand-new campus in Springfield, MA, and seeks a high-impact leader to manage 15+ guides, coach students, and ensure operational excellence from day one. You will drive data-driven decisions, enforce uncompromising standards, and build a thriving school culture centered on student growth.

This role requires extensive experience in education leadership, a passion for transforming education, and the ability to lead in a startup environment. Day-one health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related field.
• Direct experience building and managing teams of at least 15 people with hiring/firing authority.
• Deep knowledge of the Springfield, MA education landscape.
• Experience working with youth ages 5-14.
• Strong data analysis skills with metrics-driven decision making.
• Startup mindset with ability to build systems from scratch.
• Compelling, energetic speaker with classroom/staff presence.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Launch Springfield location with operational excellence across 100+ students from day one.
• Lead live workshops teaching life skills and public speaking.
• Motivate students to hit 100% of their goals using data-driven methods.
• Coach Guides to excellence and enforce quality standards.
• Make data-driven campus leadership decisions across staff, operations, and culture.
