Job summary

Breakthru Beverage California, LLC is seeking a Sales Representative to cultivate and grow account relationships in the San Jose area. You will drive sales of supplier brands through effective planning, selling execution and clear communication, with a focus on achieving company objectives.

You’ll travel routes, present promotions, train account staff, manage receivables, and work with the Field Sales Manager to open new accounts. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales.
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Analytical and reporting skills.
• Good judgement and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Calls on accounts and manages daily routes.
• Analyze accounts and identify opportunities; complete surveys and ensure national account compliance.
• Deliver sales presentations balancing company and customer needs.
• Maintain product levels and restock shelves where allowed.
• Educate staff on priority brands with training seminars.
• Manage customer receivables and communicate about aging.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate to management as needed.
• Achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
• Plan monthly pricing and promotions; track purchase history.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to fluctuations.
• Support openings of new accounts with opening orders.
