Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Market Development Representative to drive growth in our vibrant off-premise channels across Buffalo area. In this role you will partner with grocers, convenience, and liquor stores to grow volume and distribution for our brands.

You will craft solutions, lead distributors, and monitor KPIs while building strong relationships with customers and wholesalers. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required; a valid driver's license and willingness to travel are

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in alcohol-beverage or CPG industries.
• Results Driven: Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.
• Technical Savvy: Demonstrated use of sales data analytics and tools to drive results.
• Mobility: Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Schedule: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Location: Live in or near the territory.
• Expenses: Ability to cover expenses that will be reimbursed.
• Compliance: Must obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Responsibilities

• Craft solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow distribution.
• Lead distributors with in-store selling, marketing, and account execution.
• Drive volume objectives for core brands in our portfolio.
• Implement strategic programs to deliver on distribution and retail promotions.
• Develop rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Serve as communication lead between customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure goals are met.
