Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the bev-alc industry.
• Distributor or broker experience is a plus.
• Growing network of industry professionals in market.
• Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules.
• Interest in expanding knowledge in spirits history/production and cocktail culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Persuasive selling and negotiation skills required to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Ability to tailor communications for a variety of on-premise environments.
• Deep understanding of market and industry trends.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Ability to travel on ad hoc basis including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial performance across a territory of off-premise accounts for a large portfolio of spirit brands.
• Leverage brand programming, education and agency resources to build long-term relationships with customers.
• Plan, track, and implement brand and portfolio engagement using performance data.
• Develop consumer insights to inform customer engagement sessions.
• Identify merchandising opportunities by understanding portfolio priorities.
• Coordinate agency initiatives including budget management and reporting.
• Serve as liaison between portfolio, distributor, manager and customers.
