Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. The role serves as a clinical resource and requires coordination with staff and students. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, IL SLP licensure, and BLS certification within 30 days. Ongoing continuing education for acute stroke care is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) per IDFPR requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Commitment to continuing education in stroke care as required.

Responsibilities

• Collects case history information and integrates input from patient, family, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals; selects and administers appropriate evaluation procedures.
• Conducts assessment procedures for speech and language pathology and uses appropriate materials and instrumentation.
• Develops and implements a care plan with measurable goals and collaborates with patient and relevant others.
• Interprets and synthesizes information to create a treatment plan and recommendations for intervention.
