Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and support students with communication needs within educational settings. You will conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and share findings with families and district personnel.

You will develop and deliver evidence-based interventions, either directly or by supervising assistants, and monitor progress to inform IEP goals. Collaboration with ARD committees and ongoing professional growth are key.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for therapy services.
• Communicate findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clarity and sensitivity.
• Develop interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide therapy: Deliver therapy services or supervise assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: Maintain accurate records and use data to adjust interventions.
• Support team: Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students' education.
