Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas to help students overcome communication challenges within their educational settings. You will evaluate needs, communicate findings to families and district staff, and develop targeted interventions in collaboration with ARD committees.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, while monitoring progress and maintaining records to inform ongoing supports for students’ growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Texas licensure to practice as an SLP.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students' special education programs.
