Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to help students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational setting. You will evaluate needs, share findings with parents and district personnel, and develop targeted, evidence-based interventions.

Deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants, monitor progress with detailed records, and participate in ARD meetings to advocate for students’ education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs by conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate findings to parents and district personnel with clarity and compassion.
• Develop interventions with ARD committee to improve student performance and access to education.
• Provide therapy directly or supervise SLP Assistants implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress with detailed records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and conferences to advocate for students' programs.
