Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs by conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations.
• Communicate findings to parents and district personnel with clarity and empathy.
• Develop interventions in collaboration with the ARD committee to support student progress.
• Provide therapy directly or supervise assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress with accurate records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
