Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas to help students overcome communication challenges within educational settings. You will evaluate needs, plan targeted interventions, deliver therapy or supervise assistants, and monitor progress to support student success.

Required are a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, active Texas licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

Responsibilities

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for specialized therapy services.
Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for and support students' special education programs.
