Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas to empower students with communication challenges. You will conduct evaluations, share findings with families and district staff, and develop targeted IEP-based interventions.

You may deliver therapy or supervise assistants, maintain progress records, and participate in ARD meetings to advocate for student services. This role offers flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate needs: conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students' needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate findings: share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear communication.
• Develop interventions: collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide therapy: deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor progress: maintain accurate records and use data to adjust interventions.
• Support team: participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for students' programs.
