Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in educational settings. You will conduct evaluations, share findings with families and district personnel, and collaborate with ARD committees to design tailored interventions and measure progress.

You’ll deliver direct therapy or supervise assistants, ensure accurate progress notes, and advocate for students’ access to education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited SLP program.
• Active Texas license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for therapy.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel with clarity and compassion.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with ARD to create targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
