Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech-language needs to identify therapy requirements.
• Communicate findings with parents and district staff clearly.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with ARD committee.
• Provide therapy directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to implement IEP goals.
• Monitor progress with detailed records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.
