Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in McKinney, TX seeks a licensed SLPA to join our pediatric home health team. You will provide skilled speech therapy interventions to children in their homes or our daytime facility, under physician orders.

Responsibilities include scheduling supervision with a supervising SLP, collaborating with the care team, and planning care to meet therapy goals. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Bilingual is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
